Coalescing filters are used to separate two fluids in different phases, usually liquid-liquid and liquid-gas. These submicron filters are used to remove water and particulate from airstreams and hydrocarbon products during refining and processing.
Champion’s high performance liquid-liquid coalescers are engineered to coalesce immiscible non-continuous phase liquids from continuous phase liquids. They are available in a range of materials, including glass fiber, polyester, polypropylene, and nylon 66. Micron ratings are available from 0.5 µm to 70 µm.
Our gas-liquid coalescers are designed for high flow rate and high solids holding ability. They are available in a range of materials, including glass fiber, polyester, and nylon 66. Designed using pleated filter media, the filters provide higher solid holding ability than tubular style coalescers. The flow direction is from inside to outside, capturing the solids inside the filter. Removal ratings to 0.3 are available.
